Jelly Roll Shows Off His Beardless Look in New Selfie and Gets a Spicy NSFW Reaction from His Wife, Bunnie Xo

Jelly Roll is, in fact, on a roll.

The country star, 40, has been adjusting to life without a beard ever since he shaved for the first time in two decades, and now he's showing just how much he loves his new look with a selfie.

On Nov. 25, the "Save Me" singer (whose real name is Jason DeFord) posted a photo of himself to Instagram that showed his clean-shaven face in all of its glory. He can be seen wearing a long-sleeve shirt and black overalls as well as a hairstyle free of his signature ball caps.

When he first shared the photo, Jelly Roll captioned it with, "felt cute but might delete later." However, he later edited the caption to "AI is getting crazy these days," which prompted his wife, Bunnie Xo, to write one spicy comment — "Let’s clone your bone."

Jelly Roll's updated caption appears to reference a TikTok clip Bunnie Xo posted, in which she addressed rumors about him being a "clone bc [sic] he lost weight and his 'tattoos don't match'" after he'd debuted his fresh-faced appearance earlier this month.

She isn't the only one in their household having candid reactions.

In a YouTube video posted on Nov. 20, Bailee Ann, Jelly Roll's 17-year-old daughter, actually fought through a few tears upon seeing the Grammy nominee without facial hair for the first time ever.

"Oh my God, I'm going to cry. I don't like this," Bailee said while getting emotional. "You look like a turtle. I don't like this. Oh my God. I don't know if I'm laughing or if this is ..."

Jelly Roll also joked that he thought he looked like a "Ninja Turtle" further in the video as he explained what went behind his dramatic transformation. "You know, one of the reasons I even started growing a beard was 'cause I was so obese. It was just easier to cover up what was happening here, you know," he said.

In recent years, he's been candid about his ongoing weight loss journey and changing his lifestyle to lose nearly 200 lbs. from his previous weight of 550 lbs.

Recently, Jelly Roll showed off his refreshed look publicly at the Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans game at Nashville's Nissan Stadium on Nov. 23. He appeared to have a bit of stubble just days after shaving.
