Jelly Roll Pardoned For ALL Of His Past Offenses!

Jelly Roll is starting 2026 out with a clean slate!

In Tennessee on Thursday, controversial Governor Bill Lee signed a bill which officially pardoned 33 different people, per MS NOW. Featured in this was none other than Jelly, who in the past admitted to being arrested over 40 times for drug and robbery-related charges throughout his teens and early twenties. He spent a year in prison and seven years on probation for aggravated robbery, his most serious charge. That was over two decades ago now! He’s currently 41!

Per the Nashville Tennesseean, the governor said in a press conference:

“After thoroughly reviewing the merits of each case, I have decided to grant 33 individuals executive clemency. Each individual case is unique and warranted consideration, and I thank the Board of Parole members for their thoughtful recommendations throughout this process … [In particular], Jelly Roll’s story was remarkable, redemptive and powerful, and that it was evident he should get a pardon.”
