“Dickinson” Star Ella Hunt Is Engaged to Musician Thomas Bartlett

Ella Hunt is a bride-to-be!

The 27-year-old Dickinson actress recently announced her engagement through a series of Instagram photos from her bachelorette party.

“bachelorette” was the caption to her Dec. 8 upload, along with a crying face emoji.

Hunt did not share any photos of her new fiancé in the post, but the English actress has been linked to musician Thomas Bartlett, 44, since at least 2018.

For her engagement reveal, Hunt posted a candid snap of herself smiling as she gazed into the camera. She wore a shaggy white jacket and a cream-colored silk dress, along with a sparkling headband topped with the word "bride."

Next was a split picture of two images, one of her laughing with friends and the other sitting down solo on a couch, giving fans a more detailed glimpse of her polka dot tights and champagne satin skirt.

Other photos showed the Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 2 actress joined by loved ones for a night out, and Hunt posing with a bottle of wine. Some photos also showed a white veil added to her “bride” headband. 

In July 2019, Bartlett shared an Instagram photo of Hunt, whom he referred to as one of his “favorite people,” “testing out eyeliner” with a friend.

Hunt appeared on his page again that September during a studio session. She and Bartlett collaborated for her debut EP Triptych in 2021, and her 2023 EP Motel Blues.

The actress spoke to Town & Country magazine in January 2021, sharing that she’d been quietly writing songs since she was a child, but decided to jumpstart her music career in addition to acting.

As Hunt and Bartlett’s professional relationship grew, so did their romance.

“my valentine, my happy place,” he captioned a black and white photo of them smiling with his arm around her as she rested her head against his chest on Valentine's Day in 2020.

In November 2022, the pianist and producer — who has worked with artists like Norah Jones — shared more sweet images of them together, captioning the two-photo upload “mirror placement w/ boo” as he took photos of them together while Hunt hung a mirror. 

Reps for Hunt did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
