Brittany Cartwright Says She's 'Too Ashamed' to Watch Back “Vanderpump Rules”: 'Would Absolutely Die'

Brittany Cartwright is leaving the past in the past.

The Vanderpump Rules alum, who starred on the Bravo series from 2015 to 2020, revealed at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas that she has no intention of rewatching the show that put her on the reality TV map.

"I would absolutely die if I rewatched Vanderpump Rules. Especially the season where I was playing the recordings at the parties," Cartwright said on Friday, Nov. 14, apparently referring to the show's sixth season.

During the "Peaks and Valleys" panel focusing on The Valley, Cartwright agreed that while it made good TV, she doesn't want to relive it all. "I think if I watched it back, I don't know. I'd be too ashamed of myself to watch it back. Because of where I am now," she said.

"But remember, I wouldn't have Cruz," she added of her 4-year-old son, who she shares with ex Jax Taylor. "So live and learn."

Cartwright also gave an update on her son, sharing with fans that he's "doing amazing" and is "just incredible."

Of course, Cartwright and Taylor, 46, departed VPR in 2020 following season 8, and the two have since gone their separate ways. Nearly six months after they revealed they were "taking time apart," Cartwright filed for divorce in August 2024.

The pair appeared on the first two seasons of Bravo's The Valley, before Taylor announced he would not be in season 3. Elsewhere during the cast panel, Cartwright said she was "praying" that the divorce will be finalized next month.

"Things are happening with Jax," she said. "It was supposed to be Oct. 15, and it’s been pushed back. Fingers crossed."

Cartwright reiterated that her ex will "absolutely not" appear in the new season, before opening up about what she hopes fans can take away from her personal journey. "If I could help people learn how to get out of a toxic situation, that was really important to me," she said.
