Alix Earle's Boyfriend Braxton Berrios Makes Rare Appearance During “Dancing with the Stars” Finale

Alix Earle’s boyfriend Braxton Berrios was supporting her from afar during the Dancing with the Stars finale!

While the Houston Texans wide receiver, 30, couldn’t make it in person to the live taping — his team faces the Indianapolis Colts in Indiana on Sunday — Berrios did send in a video message to root on his girlfriend.

"I've watched you pour everything into this since the moment it has started, and I think it shows," said Berrios in his video, which aired as a part of the finale’s broadcast on Tuesday, Nov. 25. "Good luck. Have fun, babe."

The supportive lovebird also took to his Instagram Stories after Earle, 24, rocked the house with her stellar freestyle to a mashup of Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater” and Tate McRae’s “Sports Car” to share his amazement, writing, “DID YOU SEE THAT!!!”

Though Earle and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy scored perfect 30s from the judges for all of their performances during the DWTS finale, the dynamic duo came just short of taking home the Mirrorball Trophy — losing to the 21-year-old wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin in what host Julianne Hough said was "one of the tightest" races in the show’s history.

As Earle dominated on the DWTS stage over the last two months, Berrios was not able to make it to any tapings — but he still managed to support his girlfriend from the road.

Speaking to PEOPLE on the day of her debut in September, Earle shared that the duo managed to squeeze in a quick phone call before she danced.

"I called him on the way [to Dancing with the Stars], just feeling nervous and unsure and uncertain," said the influencer. "He assured me that feeling nervous is a privilege, and it's okay to be outside of your comfort zone."

Continued Earle at the time: “He always says this before every game — it's like, if you're nervous, you're doing something right, and I don't know, getting out of your comfort zone. So it was nice to have him just reassure me of that."

Amid her busy schedule, Earle also threw her boyfriend an elaborate surprise 30th birthday party in October.

"I wanted to plan something special for him," she wrote on TikTok, sharing the celebration. "All of his best friends flew out to L.A. just to surprise him and be here for this night."
